Plating
Metal plastification involves protecting metal surfaces from atmospheric effects. The term “plastification” refers to the application of a powder in a thin layer, followed by baking in ovens at temperatures of 170 degrees Celsius.
The powder can come in various colors, but a colorless coating is most commonly used for protecting brass.
In collaboration with our colleagues at Tehnicol-Coling in Belgrade, we perform the plastification of our products based on customer needs. If not protected, lacquered, or galvanized, brass will darken and develop a brownish color (patina) under atmospheric influence.
Galvanization
Galvanization involves nickel plating, chrome plating, gold plating, or brass plating of metal surfaces to protect them from atmospheric effects or simply for decorative purposes.
In collaboration with our colleagues at Galvanotehnik (Bošnjački), we perform galvanization of our products based on customer needs.
Patination
Patination of brass involves a chemical process of “darkening” the brass surfaces to achieve an antique appearance. This is most commonly applied to cast brass signs, where flat surfaces are patinated while raised areas (such as text and logos) are polished, resulting in a perfect contrast.
Polishing
Metal polishing is a mechanical process that imparts an exceptional shine to metal surfaces using abrasives and polishing cloths.
All our products are primarily polished to a high gloss, and the brass items are subsequently lacquered to prevent tarnishing. In the galvanization process, metal surfaces are generally polished first and then galvanized.
Model Making
This term refers to the creation of models for cast advertising signs using photopolymers, which provide a perfect impression of the design, including the company logo, text, and borders on the sign.
Sand Casting
In collaboration with Petrović Foundry from Stara Pazova, we produce a variety of items made from cast metals, such as cast advertising signs, plaques, sculptures, lamps, candle holders, door knockers, and more.
